The co-main event at UFC 310 will be a UFC Welterweight title eliminator between Shavkat Rakhmonov vs. Ian Machado Garry at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. The ‘Nomad’ is 18-0-0 while ‘The Future’ is 15-0-0. Here’s our match prediction. 

Shavkat Rakhmonov will be returning to the Octagon after almost a year when he tapped out Stephen Thompson in the second round of their matchup at UFC 296. 

The Nomad is a former M-1 Welterweight Champion and his record is truly something to behold with all 18 of his pro wins coming by way of finishes. In the UFC, Rakhmonov’s six wins have included five submissions and one TKO. 

The Kazakh has beaten the likes of Geoff Neal, Neil Magny and Carlston Harris in the last two years and was originally slated to headline this event before Belal Muhammad picked up a foot infection. 

Meanwhile, during Rakhmonov’s absence, Ian Garry has visited the Octagon twice, winning his first bout against Geoff Neal by split decision before getting a unanimous decision win over Michael Page at UFC 303.

‘The Future’ notched up a record of 7-0 during his time in Cage Warriors in London, which included beating Jack Grant for the title which essentially earned him a call-up by Dana White. 

Since arriving, the Dublin native managed a knockout victory on debut and picked up another two wins with finishes and five by decision. He has also beaten Neal, Magny and Page during his rise.
