Rugby Union comes to the Tottenham Stadium this weekend. Sharks from South Africa take on English Premiership side Gloucester in the final of the European Rugby Challenge Cup. Sharks are bidding to win the cup for the first time in their history. Gloucester won this trophy in both 2006 and 20015 and this is their third final since that last triumph. Neither of these two clubs have had memorable league seasons but one will achieve European glory this weekend. Sharks - Gloucester Rugby: Form Analysis
For the past three seasons the European Rugby Challenge Cup has been won by French sides. That run will come to an end this weekend. Gloucester finished the English Premiership with only one club below them in the table. That was Newcastle Falcons and Gloucester beat them last weekend 54-14 at home. They only won five of their 18 league games this season but have performed much better in this competition. All four of their games were won as the English side topped Pool 3 and that made them the second seeds behind Sharks in the knock-out stages. All three of their games in this stage have been won at home with victories over Castres, Osptreys and in the semi-final, Benetton. They have won all 14 of their cup games this season and recently won the Premiership Cup.
Sharks are the first South African side to reach the final of this competition. They too have had problems getting wins in their league season. Sharks are 13th in the United Rugby Championship with obly four wins in 17 fixtures. Three of their last four games in that league have been lost and sway form is poor. Their nine away games in the United Rugby Championship have produced just one victory. In the European Rugby Challenge Cup, they won Pool 1 with three wins out of four. Their only loss was at fellow South African side Cheetahs. All three of their knockout matches have been played at home with wins over Zebre Parma, Edinburgh and Clermont. Tha semi-final against Clermont was a real struggle as they trailed by ten points at the break and only won the match by a single point.

Sharks & Gloucester Rugby Squad Analysis
Sharks will be without their captain Lukhanyo Am for this European Rugby Challenge Cup final. The 30-year-old was injured against Benetton on May 11 and is reported to have a rib and shoulder problem. Also out of this final is Jaden Henrikse. Into the team comes Gerbrandt Grobler, Ethan Hooker and Francois Venter will play in the inside centre position for Sharks.
Santi Carreras has recovered from his appendix operation and will be full-back for Gloucester. Caolan Englefield who had an impressive match against Newcastle last weekend starts this game at scrum-half. It'lll be an emotional match for Adam Hastings as it'll be his last one for Gloucester and that also applies to Jonny May.
