Serbia vs Italy Prediction & Betting Tips - Euro Volley

The top two in Pool A of the 2023 Men's European Volleyball Championships meet on Friday. Defending champions Italy are top of the pool and face a strong challenge from second placed Serbia. Both countries have started this pool with a couple of wins. Italy are top as they are yet to lose a set in their opening two pool matches. They began with a straight sets win over Belgium with 50 points conceded. That was followed by another good win as they defeated Estonia. He was a bit tighter in their second match with Estonia winning 58 points against the Italians. Italy are ranked third in the world and that's six places above their opponents. They reached the final of the World Championship last year and that was a year after they were won the European title for the first time since 2005. The win over Estonia means they have now only lost one of their last five matches. Earlier this year they put Serbia in the Nations League and defeated them in straight sets That was a year after achieving the same result in last year's Nations League.

Serbia also have a 100% record after the first two matches of this European Championship. Up first the Serbs defeated Switzerland in straight sets with each  set won by at least six points. They then beat Belgium in four sets, losing the second one. Belgium made them work hard and after winning that second set, lost the third and fourth ones 25-20. The Serbs have won the European title three times in their history with the last success being in 2019. This is a tough match for them and we go for Italy to win this 3-0.
