Sebastian Korda vs Lorenzo Musetti Prediction & Betting Tips - Moselle Open

Sixth seeded Lorenzo Musetti faces unseeded Sebastian Korda for a place in the Moselle Open quarter finals. Musetti is ranked 30th in the world which is a career high for the Italian. The Italian was as low as 83rd in April but had a good clay court season winning a title in Hamburg in July defeating current world number one Carlos Alcaraz in the final. That made up for first round exits at Roland Garros and Wimbledon. In the four tournaments he's played since then, his best performance has been a last 16 in Umag, though he only had to beat the then world number 283 Aljaz Bedene to get that far. Musetti received a bye into the second round of this tournament. The Italian leads Korda 2-1 in previous meetings. The most recent match was this year on clay in Madrid. Two matches were shared last year with Korda getting the win in the Next Gen finals, their only meeting on a hard court.

Korda began this week ranked 49th but that's down from the 30th he achieved four months ago. The American is up to 46th after his straight sets win over Hugo Gaston in the first round of this event. He can climb another three places if beating the sixth seeded Musetti. Korda nearly caused an upset in the US Open this year. He won two of the first three sets against Tommy Paul but ended up losing to his compatriot. Korda got to the last eight of the Washington tournament this year and had a win over Frances Tiafoe in Cincinnati. He has a good chance of success against Musetti on this surface, go for him to make it to the quarter finals.
