Sebastian Korda vs Karen Khachanov Prediction & Betting Tips - ATP Queen's Club Championships

There are only eight seeds in the Cinch Championships at Queen's Club in London. That means no place for either Sebastian Korda or Karen Khachanov, both of whom are top 25 ranked players. The winner of this match will be up against either third seed Grigor Dimitrov or Adrian Mannarino in the second round of this grass court championship. Korda comes into this tournament fresh from reaching the final of last week's Libema Open. That saw him equal his career-high of 23rd but the American is down a place in the live rankings. That's because he is defending the points earned when reaching the semi-finals of this tournament last year. Korda won four matches in straight sets last week, including victories over Tommy Paul and Tallon Griekspoor but then lost in the final to Alex de Minaur. 

Karen Khachanov is the higher ranked of these two players but only just. The Russian is 22nd in the latest ranking list but up a couple of places in the live list. He's beaten Korda in three of their five previous meetings, including the last two. He also won their only match played on grass. That was at Wimbledon in 2021 but he had to go to 10-8 in the final set. Khachanov also played in the Libema Open but lost in his first match to Aleksandar Vukic. The former world number eight has lost three of his last four matches but earlier in the year did win the Doha hard court title. He reached the last eight at Wimbledon in 2021 but hasn't played there since. This is his first match at Queen's Club and he returns to grass after being out injured last year. We tip Korda to get the win if he can repeat last week's form.
