Sebastian Korda vs Andrey Rublev Prediction & Betting Tips - ATP Dubai Open

Andrey Rublev is in his fifth quarter final of the year. The second seed takes on unseeded Sebastian Korda in the last eight of the Dubai Tennis Championships. For the winner there's a semi-final against either seventh seed Alexander Bublik or unseeded Jiri Lehecka. Rublev is the world number six but a win over Korda will see him move up to fifth in the live rankings. He's already won one title this year with success in Hong Kong at the start of 2024. Since then he's reached the quarter final in each of the tournaments he's played but not made it into a last four. This week has seen him beat Zhihzen Zhang (after losing the first set) and then defeated qualifier Arthur Cazaux in straight sets.

Sebastian Korda is 33rd in the latest rankings but up to 29th in the live list. That puts him in with a good chance of being seeded at the French Open and other Grand Slams this year. The American has won both of his matches in this tournament in straight sets. Pavel Kotov was beaten in round one and then he defeated Botic van de Zandschulp for the loss of just one game in the first set. He's never beaten Rublev in three previous meetings, the most recent being in this year's Australian Open. Not only has he never beaten Rublev but Korda is yet to take a set off him. We tip Rublev to win this match and again do so in straight sets.
