Sebastian Korda vs Alexander Zverev Prediction & Betting Tips - ATP National Bank Open

Second seed Alexander Zverev faces unseeded Sebastian Korda in the Rogers Cup quarter-finals. Both players are in good form at present but who will reach the last four? Time for our match prediction.

Zverev is the world number four but a place higher in the ATP Race. If he could win this hard court Masters event, he’d move up to second on that list above Carlos Alcaraz. It’s been a consistent year for the German, though he’d have been disappointed to lose his Olympic title.

Back on hard-courts, he’s had plenty of success with three semi-finals on this surface and one other quarter-final appearance. This week has seen him beat Jordan Thompson (losing jus two games) and then 13th seed Holger Rune in straight sets. This is his first match against Korda.

His opponent won the Washington hard-court tournament last week and is again going well in Montreal. The American is up to a career-high 15th after reaching this quarter-final. His Rogers Cup campaign has been rather eventful but not that action-packed.

His first round match against Vasek Pospisil lasted three games before his opponent retired. Round two saw big straight sets win over ninth seed Taylor Fritz. He was due to face sixth-seeded Casper Ruud in the last 16 but he was awarded a walkover. We tip Zverev to win this match.
