Sebastian Baez vs Hugo Gaston Prediction & Betting Tips - Next Gen ATP Finals

Hugo Gaston faces an uphill battle to make it to the semi-finals of the ATP Next Gen Finals. He takes on Argentinian Sebastian Baez in their final group match. This tournament is for the top under-21 players on the ATP circuit. Strangely, the matches are best-of-five sets but you only need four games to win a set. Gaston is the world number 67 and last week made it to the quarter finals of the Paris Masters. That form hasn't been shown yet this week with losses to Sebastian Korda (after leading two sets to love) and Lorenzo Musetti (who he beat in Paris last week). It would take a win here and defeat for Musetti to have a chance of making it out of this group.

Sebastian Baez has a better chance though. He's in second place with a win over Musetti and defeat by Korda. Baez is ranked 111th and has spent this year racking up points on the Challenger Tour. He's won five tournaments and lost in three other finals. He's a clay court specialist and his most recent title was in Argentina last month. He's the sixth seed for this tournament, two places above his opponent. This is the first time all year that he's played on hard courts. With Gaston not looking in the best of form, back Baez to win this and put himself in with a good chance of making the last four.
