Seattle Kraken vs Dallas Stars Prediction & Betting Tips - NHL

The NHL Stanley Cup Playoffs enters game four of the second round with the Seattle Kraken looking to take a dominant 3-1 series lead when they host the Dallas Stars. Seattle was able to score a blowout game three win by a score of 7-2 on their home ice to put themselves within two wins of a Conference Finals meeting with either the Golden Knights or the Oilers. Despite holding a 2-1 series lead, the oddsmakers only have the Kraken as 1.83 favorites to advance to the next round while the Stars come in at 2.00 odds to progress.
Seattle were able to steal game one in this series in Dallas with an overtime 5-4 win to give themselves home ice advantage for the rest of the series. They were able to protect that advantage in their first game in Seattle with a dominant game three win. The Kraken have been hugely impressive to be in this position after upsetting the top-seeded Avalanche as the Wild Card team in the first round and now to have taken a series lead against the two-seed Stars. They’ve now won five of their last seven games overall and have been finding the net with ease, scoring 14 total goals in their last three matches alone.
The Stars will be desperate for a win to pull this series back to 2-2 or they face the prospect of going down 3-1 and having to win three straight games. Dallas finished the season with the third-best record in the Western Conference including one of the better away marks with 25 wins in 41 trips. The Stars certainly will not be panicked, however, as they found themselves in a 2-1 hole against the Wild in the first round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs. They responded by winning the next three consecutive games to win the series 4-2.

Many are expecting a similar game four response by the Dallas Stars to the previous series against the Wild. However, this Kraken team has been playing at a high enough level and has done enough to deserve the benefit of the doubt heading into this one. They upset the odds against the Aves in round one and have not looked intimidated at all against the Stars in round two.
