Seattle Kraken vs Columbus Blue Jackets Prediction & Betting Tips - NHL

A single game in the early hours of Monday morning as the 15-23-9 Columbus Blue Jackets pay a visit to the 20-18-10 Seattle Kraken. Nine wins in a row for the Kraken over Christmas and into the new year got them back into things in the Pacific Division, only for them to lose five of their next six. Their only win in that recent stretch came against the Blackhawks who are bottom of the entire NHL so it is not anything to write home about. They will at least see another weak team coming in here in the shape of the Blue Jackets and feel that this is a game that they really ought to be taking two points from. Oliver Bjorkstrand will take on his old team for the 4th time as a member of the Kraken. He has picked up five points in the first three so clearly loves playing against his old franchise.
This is the second half of back-to-back games for the Jackets, playing in Vancouver against the Canucks the night before. It's been another disappointing season at the bottom for the Jackets but they got a win in Calgary against the Flames earlier in the week and they have just struggled to finish games off this season when they have got themselves into a position to get a result. Nine times this year they have been beaten in overtime or in a shootout and while they can take some comfort from the nine points gained from those games, there have been plenty dropped as well. They lost 4-7 at home to the Kraken a fortnight ago, taking the lead on three separate occasions before being beaten.
