Scotland vs France Prediction & Betting Tips - Six Nations

Round two of the Six Nations will get underway on Saturday, with Scotland playing host to France. The hosts are second in the standings, while the visitors are bottom of the table. Scotland got their campaign off to a winning start, beating Wales 27-26 in a nail-biting opening match in Cardiff. However, the Scots almost blew a huge lead as they were already 27 points up just three minutes into the second half. The Welsh came back with everything they had, but the experienced heads of the Scots managed to hold off the onslaught. Still, the performance was far from convincing, and they will now need to rally again to take on Les Bleus, who have won three of their last four meetings against this opponent.
Meanwhile, France came into the competition as the bookmaker's favorite but suffered defeat in their opening match against Ireland. While losing to the Irish is not the end of the world, the manner in which they lost will be a concern as Ireland dominated the match right from the off. With Antoine Dupont, France looked to be lacking spark and created very few clear-cut opportunities at the breakdown. Still, they have a squad that is capable of putting any team on the back foot, and they have won on their last two visits to Murrayfield. France are expected to respond this week, especially with the Scots likely to be without three of their starters due to injury.
