Scotland plays host to Argentina at Murrayfield for this Autumn International match. The home side are coming off a loss to the All Blacks while the visitors also lost to Wales in their last match. Scotland will be wandering how did they end up losing to New Zealand in their last outing as they led for most of the match until a late surge by the visitors replacements got them over the line. There were plenty of positives for the home team none more so that the return of mercurial flyhalf Finn Russell. He was back to his best and directed his troops around the field and more of that will be required against the Argentinians. Scotland will be out for revenge against the Pumas after they were beaten 2-1 in a test series in Argentina earlier this year. The last four matches between the sides are evenly split at two wins apiece.
Argentina were brought down to earth in their last match after the high of beating England in the first match of their end of year tour. They will need to show the same controlled aggression they exhibited in the Twickenham win if they are to beat a very strong Scottish side. The visitors will be looking to star player Emiliano Boffelli to lead the way against his many of his club teammates at Edinburgh. Argentina will need to be at their best defensively as the home team have attacking threats all overthe field. They will need their world class loose trio to be at their best if they are to win this match.
