Saracens FC vs Connacht Rugby Prediction & Betting Tips - Champions Cup

Both Saracens and Connacht lost their opening games in Pool A of the European Rugby Champions Cup. Saracens now host Connacht beginning the game fifth in the pool with their opponents in bottom place. A top four finish is needed to take a team into the last 16. Saracens were beaten 27-16 at Bulls last weekend, conceding three tries before scoring a coupleh themselves to make the score look a bit more respectable. They are currently fourth in the English Premiership having won five of their eight games this season but losing the other three. Before last weekend's defeat at Bulls, they had also lost at home to Northampton Saints but that did end a run of four wins in a row. Home performances this season have seen them win two and lose two.
Connacht also made a disappointing start to their European Rugby Champions Cup campaign. They had a home game against Bordeaux and were beaten 41-5 with five tries and a penalty try scored by the away side. That's left them bottom of the pool without a point and another loss this weekend will make it an even more uphill task to qualify for the knockout stages. Connacht are currently eighth in the United Rugby Championship with four wins and three defeats. Current form was poor even before the heavy loss to Bordeaux. They had lost their last two league games and that includes conceding 53 points at Bulls. Two of their three away games in the United Rugby Championship have been lost. We go for Saracens to get the win and defy a -16.5 points handicap.
