San Francisco 49ers vs Philadelphia Eagles Prediction & Betting Tips - NFL

The NFC West is proving to be a very competitive one this eason. The San Francisco 49ers go into this match, bottom of the division, despite winning two of their first three fixtures. They look for a third win of the season when hosting the Philadelphia Eagles, who are yet to win a match this season. San Francisco reached the Super Bowl last season but began this new campaign with a 24-20 home loss to the Arizona Cardinals. Two touchdowns conceded in the final quarter lost them that game. Since then, they have bounced back with two straight wins with victories at the New York Jets (31-13) and then a dominating 36-9 win at the New York Giants. Up against the Eagles, another win very much looks on the cards here.

Philadelphia come into this fourth match of the season still looking for their first victory. Two of their games have been lost and the other tied, leaving them third in the NFC East. The Eagles started the season with an away fixture against the Washington Football Team (come on guys sort a new name out) and went down 27-17, despite leading by ten points at half-time. Their first home game of the new campaign didn't go well with a 37-19 loss to the LA Rams. Then came a match against closely fought match with the Cincinnati Bengals. They again led after two quarters but the match ended up being tied. The Eagles won this division last season, going on to lose to Seattle in the wild card round. Another loss this weekend isn't wanted of course but they only trail leaders Washington by one win. Home advantage and two high-scoring wins point to a San Francisco win in this match.
