The Superbowl is getting closer and closer as San Francisco 49ers host Minnesota Vikings in an NFC Divisional play-off. The 49ers won NFC West with a 13-3 record putting them two wins ahead of Seattle Seahawks, who they could meet in the NFC final. San Francisco finished top of the NFC rankings, ahead of the Green Bay Packers who they beat in week 12. They had a 10-2 record against other sides in the NFC with only Seattle Seahawks and Atlanta Falcons beating them. It's been a great season for the 49ers who won each of their first eight matches, something they haven't managed to achieve since 1990 before losing in the NFC Championship game to the New York Giants. They come into this postseason game having won three of their last four matches.

Minnesota Vikings caused a surprise when beating New Orleans Saints in the wild card play-offs. The Vikings needed OT to clinch the win after giving away a ten-point lead going into the final quarter. Minnesota finished second behind the Green Bay Packers in the NFC North with a 10-6 record. Seven of their 12 games against other sides in the NFC were won and they return to the postseason after missing out last year. The win over the Saints came after they'd lost three of their last five games in the regular season. Getting a result in San Francisco is another tough task for them, especially with Mike Hughes and Makensie Alexander both out injured. Go for the 49ers to win and lead at both half and full time.
