San Francisco 49ers are the favourites to beat the Green Bay Packers and reach the Superbowl. This NFC Championship match sees the 49ers attempting to reach the Superbowl for the first time since losing to Baltimore Ravens in 2013. Their last win in the Superbowl was back in 1995 so it's been a long wait. They were dominant in the regular season ending with a 13-3 record and winning NFC West. That record saw them finish the top ranked NFC side and so far this season of 13 games played against fellow conference sides, 11 have been won. Four of their last five games have been won and they qualified for this Championship final with a win over the Minnesota Vikings last weekend.

Green Bay Packers defeated Seattle Seahawks in their divisional final. They stormed into a 21-3 lead but a second half fightback by the Seahawks saw them only win by five points in the end. It's a welcome return to the play-offs for Green Bay who have been absent for the past couple of seasons. Their last Superbowl appearance was in 2011 when beating the Pittsburgh Steelers. Like their opponents, they had a 13-3 regular season record and have only lost two of 13 games against other NFC teams. November saw them travel to the 49ers and they came home having been beaten 37-8. They have won six games in a row since then but it's going to be difficult to get a win in San Francisco, go for the 49ers on a -5 point spread.
