The San Francisco 49ers are unbeaten for the season and top NFC West after three straight wins. They bid to go 4-0 with a home game against the Cleveland Browns who are secomd in the AFC North with a 2-2 season record. The 49ers have racked up 96 points in their three matches this season. They began the season with two away victories at Tampa Bay Bucaneers and Cincinatti Bengals. Their one home game this season resulted in a 24-20 victory over the Pittsburgh Steelers. Last week saw them get a bye so they will have a good rest before this encounter with Cleveland.

The Cleveland Browns have made a mixed start to the new NFL season. It's 16 years since they last made it to the play-offs and may well struggle to break that long run. They made a disappointing start to this season losing their opening game 43-13 at home to the Tennessee Titans.  Their first win came the following week as they went to the New York Jets and came home with a 23-3 victory. A 20-13 home loss to the LA Rams but they got themselves back to 2-2 for the season with a 40-25 away win at the Baltimore Ravens. They have a tough time ahead of them with this game being followed by a match against Seattle Seahawks (4-1 for the season). San Francisco have an excellent defence and can get their fourth win in a row.
