San Francisco 49ers are top of the NFC West and have won all six of their matches this season. They bid to make it seven wins out of seven when hosting the Carolina Panthers who lie second in the NFC South with a 4-2 record. San Francisco haven't won their first six matches of the season since 1990. Last season saw them have a 4-12 record, so it's a massive improvement for the 49ers. Their first two wins of the season were by an aggregate margin of 38 points before a 24-20 win over Pittsburgh Steelers.  A 31-3 win over Cleveland Browns followed and a 13-point victory over the LA Rams. Their most recent win was a 9-0 beating of Washington Redskins. Four of their six wins this season have come on the road.

Carolina Panthers are 4-2 for the season and they trail New Orleans Saints who have a 6-1 record in NFC South. Their season didn't get off to a good start though as they lost their first two games to the LA Rams and Tampa Bay Bucaneers. They were close matches though with the combined points difference only being nine points. Their last four games have all been won with victories over Arizona Cardinals, Houston Texans, Jacksonville Jaguars and revenge against Tampa Bay in a game played at the Tottenham Hotspur football ground in London, England.  The 49ers can be backed to make it seven wins in a row.
