The San Antonio Spurs and Utah Jazz will face off at the Frost Bank Arena in the NBA on Friday morning. The Spurs (7-8) are 12th in the Western Conference, while the Jazz (3-11) are bottom of the conference standings. To the match prediction!

The San Antonio Spurs have made a much better start to this season than last and notched up their seventh win of the campaign in midweek when they beat OKC 110-104.

Keldon Johnson led the team with 22 points and Harrison Barnes added 20, but what was most impressive was that they managed to overcome the high-flying Thunder without Victor Wembanyama.

The Spurs are ranked 24th in points scored per game this season (109.1), but their major strength has come on the defensive end where they are seventh in PPG against (109.6).

Meanwhile, the Utah Jazz are yet to get out of first gear this season and suffered their third straight defeat, going down to the Lakers 124-118 on the road on Wednesday. 

Lauri Markkanen put up 25 points,. Utah struggled to keep pace with the Lakers until the fourth quarter when they managed 43 points, but it was still not enough to get them over the line. 

The Jazz are a bottom-five team on both ends this season, scoring 108.0 points per game (26th) while allowing 118.9 PPG (also 26th overall).
