The San Antonio Spurs and the Houston Rockets are set to face off in the NBA at Frost Bank Center on Tuesday morning. The Spurs are currently 10th in the Western Conference while the Rockets are right behind them in 11th. Let’s get into the match prediction. 

The San Antonio Spurs opened the new season with a 120-109 defeat to the Mavericks but have the psychological edge in this one after beating this opponent 109-106 on Sunday. 

Victor Wembenyama picked up 29 points, seven rebounds and three blocks in the victory, while Jeremy Sochan added 17 points and Keldon Johnso chipped in with 16.

San Antonio are now averaging 109 PPG with a 47.3% shooting conversion, including 35.7% from beyond the arc and 80.8% at the free-throw line. 

Meanwhile, the Houston Rockets have been a mixed bag over their first three games, losing to the Hornets and Spurs either side of a home win against the Grizzlies over the weekend. 

Jalen Green has been the standout performer for Houston so far, averaging 26.3 PPG and 4.7 rebounds, while Fred VanVleet is averaging 16 points and three rebounds. 

Despite the results, the Rockets have been decent defensively, currently ranked eighth in  PPG conceded (109.0) on 45.1% shooting and 33.9% from downtown.
