The San Antonio Spurs have sprung back to life recently and are on a two-game winning streak after securing a 135-99 victory against the Hornets in their latest game. Victor Wembenyama led the team with 26 points, 11 rebounds and two blocks on nine of 14 shooting, Doug McDermott added 14 points off the bench. The Spurs are averaging 112.5 points per game, which ranks 25th and is just 0.1 points more than Chicago typically concede. Defensively, San Antonio have faced major difficulty this season, currently holding the 26th rank in the NBA, giving up 121.7 points per game. Notably, they concede 3.0 more points at home than on the road this season. Zach Collins, Sidy Cissoko and Charles Bassey are all doubtful for this match. Victor Wembenyama is expected to be rested. 

Meanwhile, The Chicago Bulls were starting to put together a run of results as they had reeled off three straight wins before they got upended by the Warriors in a 140-131 loss last night. DeMar DeRozan led the team with 39 points, six rebounds and five assists on 15 of 21 shooting. Coby White and Zach LaVine each scored 25 points in the loss. Chicago is averaging 110.3 points per game, which ranks 27th in the league, and is a full 11.4 fewer than the Spurs allow. On defense, the Bulls are much better, allowing 112.4 points per game, which ranks 12th. However, they are conceding almost seven more points on the road than at home this season. Torrey Craig and Lonzo Ball are likely to miss this match due to injury.
