The Brooklyn Nets will head to the Frost Bank Center to face the San Antonio Spurs in the NBA on Tuesday night. The Spurs (25-34) are 13th in the Western Conference, while the Nets (21-39) are 11th in the East. Let’s get into the match prediction!

The San Antonio Spurs have been grappling with injuries and suffered their fifth defeat in six on Sunday when they lost 146-132 to the formidable OKC Thunder at home. 

Despite shooting an impressive 56% from the field and making 18 of 43 from long range, they lost focus after an on-court altercation in the third quarter and allowed OKC to pull away in the fourth. 

The Spurs are mid-table on both ends this season, 16th for points scored (113.1) and 20th for points against (115.3). 

Meanwhile, the Brooklyn Nets have also lost five of their last six games and are now looking to bring an end to a four-match losing streak after going down 115-94 to the Pistons on Saturday. 

Tyrese Martin was the only player to break the 20-point mark, while as a team, Brooklyn shot a dismal 30% from the field and converted just six of 39 attempts from beyond the arc. 

The Nets are currently the second-lowest-scoring team in the league this season (104.8) but have remained competitive thanks to their defence that allows 111.3 PPG (10th overall).
