The San Antonio Spurs will welcome the Boston Celtics for their next NBA regular season matchup. Boston leads the standings in the Eastern Conference while the Spurs are rock bottom in the West. The Spurs are coming off a back-to-back with fellow West strugglers Portland. Greg Popovich’s men won the first game but were defeated in the second, losing 134-128. The first win had put to a halt a five-game losing streak. San Antonio has won just five of its 31 games and this return is the second-worst in the entire league. The Spurs, who are averaging 115.7 points when at home, could be without Zach Collins for this match. Collins twisted his ankle in the last outing against the Blazers and didn't return after coming off.

Boston Celtics are flying high again and so far their record isn’t only the best in the East but in the entire NBA. Joe Mazulla’s men have won 25 of their 31 games and are a game and a half clear of their closest challengers in the East. They defeated the Raptors 120-118 last time out to extend their current winning run to five games. This is currently the longest active winning streak in the league. Boston is ranked in the top 10 in both offence and defence. They are giving up 112.5 points a game to their opponents when on the road and scoring 117.6 in return. The visitors have an almost clean bill of health as only Jrue Holiday is named on the injury report. Holiday is listed as ‘Questionable’ with an ankle issue but did play the last game with the same designation.
