The San Antonio Spurs have split their last 10 games five wins and five losses, with their most recent matchup ending in a 106-92 defeat at the hands of the Timberwolves on Monday. 

Victor Wembanyama once again delivered the standout performance for San Antonio, putting up 20 points, 12 rebounds and five assists, while Harrison Barnes and Jeremy Sochan added 17 points apiece. 

The Spurs are now averaging 110.9 points per game this season (19th in the league), while allowing 112.9 PPG on defence (15th in the NBA). 

Meanwhile, the Atlanta Hawks have been in good shape recently, 7-3 across their last 10, after their most recent match ended in a 110-102 defeat to the Bucks in the NBA Cup semi-final. 

Trae Young led the side in that match with 35 points and 10 assists, but the team was unable to keep pace with the Bucks in the final quarter.

The Hawks are a top-10 offence this season, averaging 116.2 PPG, but they’ve struggled mightily on defence, currently ranked 27th, allowing 118.7 PPG on average.
