The San Antonio Spurs will welcome the Atlanta Hawks on Friday looking to halt their current losing run in the NBA. They currently sit rock bottom in the Western Conference while the Hawks are 10th in the East. The San Antonio Spurs have lost their last 12 matches. Another defeat will see them tie their second-worst record as a franchise. Greg Popovich’s men are 3-14 and possess the worst record in the West. They have allowed the most points to their opponents in the West at 122.8 points a game. The AT&T Centre-based side were defeated 132-120 in their last match away to the Denver Nuggets. Rookie Victor Wembanyama has been the leading points-getter for Friday’s hosts and is averaging 19.2 points a game. The Spurs won the last time the Hawks were in town and they will hope to rise to the occasion once again.
