The New Orleans Pelicans and Sacramento Kings will face off at the Golden 1 Center in the NBA on Saturday night. The Kings (25-26) are 10th in the Western Conference while the Pels (12-39) are bottom of the standings. Let’s get into the match prediction!

The Sacramento Kings have been slipping in the standings having lost their sixth game in eight on Thursday when they were beaten 108-102 on the road by the Trail Blazers. 

DeMar DeRozan and Zach LaVine scored 22 points apiece, but as a team, Sacramento shot just 42% from the field and went could in the second half of the final quarter. 

The Kings are still a top-10 offence, averaging 116.1 points per game, but they allow 115.4 which ranks 22nd in the defensive charts. 

Meanwhile, the New Orleans Pelicans are in freefall, now riding a seven-match losing streak after getting hammered 144-119 by the Denver Nuggets in midweek. 

New Orleans kept pace with the Nuggets for the entire first half, but they were outscored 45-27 in the third quarter and lacked the firepower to reel in the deficit in the fourth. 

The Pels are bottom 10 on both ends this season, 24th for points scored (110.0) and 26th for points against (118.8).
