Notably, their defense has been a standout, allowing just 106.9 points per game, making them the best defensive team in the league. As a noteworthy statistic, with one-third of the season completed, the Timberwolves stand out as the only team in the NBA that has yet to lose consecutive games. 

Meanwhile, The Sacramento Kings have shown resilience in the face of challenges throughout the season. On Friday night, they delivered an impressive performance by defeating the Phoenix Suns with a convincing 120-105 win on their home court. Domantas Sabonis played a pivotal role, recording his fourth triple-double of the season with 28 points, 12 assists, and 11 rebounds. Sacramento have been on a good streak, winning six of their last eight games, and they boast an impressive 11-4 record on their home floor this season. Offensively, the Kings score an average of 118.3 points per game, ranking seventh in the NBA. They outscore their opponents by 11.4 points on average, and this difference increases to 123.4 points per game at home. However, they are allowing an average of 118.2 points per game, which places them 22nd in the league. This is the second of three games against one another, and the Kings had a 124-111 road win back on Nov. 24.
