The in-form LA Clippers will be away to the Sacramento Kings for the final regular season showdown between the two. They arrive for the game sitting in fourth place in the Western Conference table, four games clear of the eighth-placed Kings. The Kings ground to a halt a two-match losing run last time out by defeating the visiting Jazz 127-106. Their 43rd win of the season kept them 1.5 games of their closest challengers for eighth place. Mike Brown’s men are however a similar distance behind in the race for a top-six finish. Having eight games to play, the Kings will have to win every match to stand a chance of securing an automatic playoff spot. Malik Monk will not be involved in this run-in as he has been ruled out for at least a month due to an MCL injury. Kevin Huerter, who has missed the last seven matches, has also been ruled out for the rest of the regular season. The Kings won 123-107 in LA back in February the last time they faced off with the Clippers. A second successive win will see them tie this series at 2-2. Sacramento have averaged 108.7 points over their last three matches.

The Clippers are on a roll at the moment and have won their last three matches. All three games have been away assignments against East teams. This run has allowed them to strengthen their hold on fourth place in the West. The Clippers also have eight matches left in the regular season. They have compiled a 47-27 record and are just two games clear of the streaking Mavericks. Ty Lue’s men defeated the Hornets 130-118 last time out. Paul George led all other scorers on the court with a season-high 41 points. Four other players scored in double figures for the Clippers including Russell Westbrook. The former MVP managed 11 points. He however remains on the team’s injury report as he is managing a hand injury and is questionable for this trip. P.J. Tucker also has a 50/50 chance of being involved here. The Clippers have defeated the Kings twice this season. They were 131-117 winners the last time they were in Sacramento. In their last three matches, the Clippers have averaged 112.7 points.
