Roberto Bautista-Agut vs Peter Gojowczyk Prediction & Betting Tips - Open Sud de France

World number 13 Roberto Bautista-Agut is the top seed for this tournament. He takes on qualifer Peter Gojowczyk in the last four with the winner taking on either second seeded David Goffin or Igor Gerasimov. Agut hasn't had the best of years so far. He did reach the semi-finals of the ATP Cup with Spain but only won one of his three matches. The win came against Australia's Alex de Minaur but he lost to both Matteo Berrettini and Stefanos Tsitsipas. His Australian Open campaign didn't last long with a first round exit to Radu Albot, losing in four sets after winning the first. This tournament has seen him in much better form. He has won both of his matches and only dropped nine games in doing so. That includes being sixth seeded Ugo Humbert in the quarter finals.

Peter Gojowczyk is ranked 144th in the world, 131 places below his opponent. A win could see him face David Goffin in an all Belgian final but that looks unlikely. This is his second semi-final of the year but the other was in a Challenger event. His wins came against players outside the top 130 in the world and he lost to Bernabe Zapata Miralles who's currently ranked 153rd. The Australian Open championship saw him lose in the first qualifying round to Cem Ikel from Turkey who's just outside the top 200. This is his second tournament in France this year, the other was a Challenger event and he lost in the last sixteen to world number 168 Hugo Gastin. This has been a much better week for him though with a first round defeat of eighth seeded Jan-Lennard Struff. He's had two more wins against unseeded players and had to go to three sets to get past Jiri Vesely. He's played Agut four times in the past (twice at Wimbledon) and not won any of the matches, the most recent being in 2019. A bet on under 20.5 games is the suggested wager.
