World number 25 Roberto Bautista Agut is the top seed in the Swiss Open clay court tournament. He received a bye into the second round (last 16) and faces unseeded Pedro Cachin. The winner of this match will be up against unseeded opposition in the last eight. That'll be either Stan Wawrinka (who beat sixth seeded Roberto Carballes Maena in round one) or Jaume Munar. Agut can move up to 22nd in the live rankings if winning this match. The Spaniard has won 15 of his 31 matches played this year but is 4-6 on clay. Agut is bidding to reach his first clay court quarter final of the year. His previous best in 2023 was the last 16 in Barcelona where he lost to Carlos Alcaraz.
