Roberto Bautista-Agut vs Emil Ruusuvuori Prediction & Betting Tips - ATP Indian Wells

22nd seeded Roberto Bautista Agut faces unseeded Emil Ruusuvuori in the Indian Wells second round. The winner will take on either 12th seeded Alexander Zverev or Pedro Cachin in round three. Agut began this week ranked 27th in the world. a drop of six places since the start of the year. The Spaniard made a good start to the year making it to the final of the second Adelaide International. The Australian Open saw him get a titanic win over Andy Murray but he bowed out in the fourth round, being beaten by Tommy Paul. His form has dipped a bit of late though with only one win in his last three tournaments. Agut had a bye through to this second round. He's bidding to reach the third round at Indian Wells for the third successive time. His best here is a fourth round appearance in 2014. He's had one previous match against his opponent beating him 3-0 in a best-of-five sets match at the 2021 US Open, dropping just six games.

Emil Ruusuvuori started this Indian Wells tournament ranked 59th. He's up to 55th place in the live rankings after beating Constant Letienne in straight sets in round one. He won the first set 6-4 and his opponent retired injured when 4-1 down in the second set. The Finnish player hasn't made a great deal of impact on the ATP Tour this year. He has played seven singles events before this tournament and is yet to win two matches in one of them. The only time he's won two matches in a week in 2023 was when representing Finland in the Davis Cup against Argentinian players wishing the match was being played on clay rather than a hard court. This is his third appearance at Indian Wells and he's yet to get past round two. We don't think he will this year either, go for Agut to get the victory.
