Rob Cross and Chris Dobey will face off in the opening round on Night 6 of the 2025 Premier League Darts campaign at the Motorpoint Arena in Nottingham on Thursday. Voltage is in sixth place in the league standings, three points ahead of Hollywood in seventh. Check out our match prediction below.
Rob Cross has yet to find his best form in the Premier League this season, having yet to reach a final in the competition after five nights. And managing just six points so far.
Voltage notched up an impressive win against Luke Humphries in Brighton but bowed out in the semi-final to Nathan Aspinall 6-5 despite averaging 106.91 in the match.
Cross then lost in the opening round of the Lecot Belgian Darts Open to Ross Smith on Sunday, which sees him carrying a record of four wins and six defeats in his last 10 games into this one.
Meanwhile, after a very impressive start to the Premier League with a run to the final, Chris Dobey has experienced a fairly significant dip in form.
Hollywood suffered his fourth consecutive opening round league loss last week to Luke Littler and bowed out in the first round of the European Championship to Dirk van Duijvenbode over the weekend.
Dobey has now lost six of his last seven matches across all competitions, but he has beaten Cross in four of their last six encounters.

While neither of these players have been at their best of late, Cross did deliver an improved performance to beat Humphries last week and has had marginally better form over the last few weeks.
Since reaching the final on Night 1, Dobey has yet to win a match in the Premier League and has lost six of his last seven across all competitions.
