Richard Gasquet vs Brandon Nakashima Prediction & Betting Tips - Florence, Italy, Qualifying

Brandon Nakashima is up to a career high 46th in the world rankings. The American is the eighth seed for the Firenze Open in Florence and faces Richard Gasquet in the first round. Nakashima recently won the San Diego Open but lost in the last 32 in Tokyo last week being beaten by Borna Coric in straight sets. 2022 has been a successful year for Nakashima with six quarter finals in addition to that title win in San Diego. The winner of this match faces qualifier Altug Celikbilek in the second round.

Richard Gasquet is the world number 83 but has been as high as 66th this year and as low as 91st. The French player reached the quarter final of a Challenger Tour event last month but has otherwise been struggling for results. Last week saw him lose to Jurgen Brland who was ranked 487th at the time. His last three losses have all been to players ranked outside the top 100.
