Rebecca Sramkova has progressed to a second successive tour semi-final and will play fellow unseeded player Tamara Zidansek in Hua Hin. The winner will play Mai Hontama, Arianne Hartono, Rebeka Masarova or Laura Siegemund in the final. Here are some stats leading up to this match and a prediction.

Sramkova has won seven of her last eight matches, all on hardcourts. Before this run, she had managed just three wins in 10 fixtures. The Slovak finished second in Monastir before arriving in Hua Hin.

That was her maiden tour final appearance and she will be eager to crown this purple patch with a title. The 27-year-old has, however, struggled against Zidansek and has never won in this fixture.

The 26-year-old has now clawed her way to being within two wins of overturning her current losing record. A former French Open semi-finalist, Zidansek has had a shaky year and currently has compiled a 17-18 record.
