Euroleague leaders Real Madrid bid to bounce back after only their second defeat of the season. They host Anadolu Efes who are 15th in the table and on a long losing streak. Real Madrid were beaten 83-78 at Barcelona on Wednesday, despite leading going into the final quarter. That was only their second defeat in 18 Euroleague games this season, the other an over time loss at Fenerhbahce. Despite the defeat they are still in a strong position with three more wins than second placed Virtus Bologna and Barcelona. Home form in the Euroleague this season has seen the Spaniards win all eight of their matches with the most recent being a 16-point win over Partizan. Their last five home Euroleague wins have all been by at least 14 points.  Overall, their last seven home fixtures in Euroleague and ACB have been won.

Anadolu Efes have a tough task ahead of them in this match. Their season record in Euroleague is 7-11 and they only have three teams below them in the table. Their record a few weeks ago looked a lot better than it does at present. Anadolu lost by five points at Valencia on Wednesday. That was mainly due to losing the third quarter by seven points. The defeat was their fifth in a row and their last Euroleague victory was at Alba Berlin in early December. Away form in Euroleague has seen them win twice but lose the other eight. We tip Real Madrid to get back into winning ways and win this on a -13.5 point handicap.
