Real Madrid can strengthen their position at the top of Euroleague with a home win over 13th placed Bayern Munich. The home side have won 12 of their 13 games with the only loss being by a single point away to Fenerbahce. They have won two games more than any other side in the table. The Spaniards have recovered well from that defeat with Euroleague wins over Olympiacos and Panathinaikos. Their home form has been perfect so far in this season's Euroleague with all six of their games being won. Their last three home games have been won by a combined margin of 68 points. The only team to get close to them on their home court was second-placed Barcelona who they beat by just a point in October. They also top the Spanish ACB so a double is very possible.

Bayern Munich are down in 11th place in Euroleague with six wins but seven defeats. The German side travel to Madrid having lost at Olympiacos last week. That ended a run of three successive Euroleague wins but two of those came at home. Away form isn't so good for them with six of their eight Euroleague fixtures being lost. Their last away win was at Lyon, winning by one point after over time. Four of their last five away Euroleague fixtures have ended in defeat. Another one beckons here and we go for Real Madrid to win and be leading at both half and full time.
