Rain Or Shine Elasto Painters vs Blackwater Bossing Prediction & Betting Tips - PBA, Governors Cup
by Joseph King | in PBA, Governors Cup Predictions
Two teams in desperate need of a win sees Blackwater Bossing taking on Rain or Shine at the MOA Arena for this PBA Governor’s Cup matchup. Bossing come into this match with a record of one win and four losses, placing them ninth out of 12th in the standings. It’s been a difficult season so far for Blackwater Bossing, who have now lost three in a row following their most recent 119-106 loss to Terrafirma Dyip on Thursday. However, the arrival of import Troy Williams should give Bossing fans cause for optimism, especially after his 55 point performance in his debut in the last game against Terrafirma. Williams will have to gel better with his teammates, however, as he launched 34 shots in the game while recording only five assists. A few days of practice with his new teammates will surely do the 28-year-old good ahead of the clash with Rain or Shine.
On the other side, Rain or Shine remain as only one of two winless teams in the Governor’s Cup following their 116-108 loss to Barangay Ginebra in their last outing. The result has ROS sitting second from the bottom in the standings with a record of zero wins and four losses, ahead only of Northport who have lost all five of their games. The major news in the Rain or Shine locker room has been the change made to their import player as the team desperately searches for a way to snap out of their current losing streak. The ROS front office decided to replace import player Michael Qualls with Greg Smith II. Smith II is expected to make his first start in the game against Bossing but it remains to be seen how well he performs after just a few days of practice with his new teammates.

Our Rain Or Shine Elasto Painters vs Blackwater Bossing Prediction
Both teams are struggling but it should be the home team Rain or Shine that are the more fired up for this one. They should get a boost with the arrival of Greg Smith II who can definitely still have a strong impact despite only being with his new teammates for a few days. Bossing have really struggled on the defensive side of the ball so far this season which could ultimately prove to be their achilles’ heel in this game against ROS. Our Blackwater Bossing vs Rain or Shine prediction: Rain or Shine -5.5 point spread
