The wonderfully named Rain or Shine Elasto Plasters look to win a third successive match. They are fifth in the table and host Northport who are two places below them. Rain or Shine have won six of their ten games to date in this tournament that had been delayed due to the ongoing pandemic. They are in a comfortable position when it comes to making the play-offs. Their last two games have seen victories over Magnolia Hotshots (currently third) and fourth placed San Miguel Beermen. Two tight wins though with an aggregate points margin of just five points.  

Their opponents aren't in such good form. Northport come into this game having lost their last two matches. The first of those was a ten-point loss to current leaders TNT KaTropa but the second was a much closer affair. They took on Magnolia Hotshots and lost by a single point. A rather disappointing result considering they were 14 points clear in the early stages of the match. They are still in a play-off position but only two places clear.
