Rafael Nadal takes on Diego Schwartzmann in the last eight of the French Open. Nadal is still on course to win a fifth straight Roland Garros title. If he does manage that it'll be the second time he's achieved that feat. He's yet to lose a set in this tournament, he didn't last year either. He had some problems in his last match against Jannik Sinner. His opponent put up a good display, particularly in the first two sets but Nadal still overcame all of them. He's played Schwartzmann 11 times before this match and won ten of them.  That includes the semi-final here when Nadal won in straight sets.

The only win for Schwartzmann came on clay in Rome last year. The Argentinian is seeded tenth but a loss here will see him drop to 11th due to all those points he has to defend. He's won one tournament on clay this season, back in Argentina. He's not had the most consistent of years with several losses to lowly ranked players. Schwartzmann is yet to lose a set in this tournament but Nadal is the first seed he's had to face. Go for Nadal to win this in straight sets.
