The Portland Trail Blazers and the Atlanta Hawks will face off at the Moda Center in the NBA on Monday morning. The Blazers (5-8) are 13th in the Western Conference standings, while the Hawks (6-7) are fifth in the East. Check out our match prediction below.

After a painfully slow start to the season, the Trail Blazers have now won two on the bounce, following a 106-98 victory over the Minnesota Timberwolves last week. 

Shaedon Sharpe scored 33 points, Donovan Clingan contributed 17 points and 12 rebounds, and Dalano Banton added 13 points, including a couple of clutch free throws down the stretch. 

Still, Portland are a bottom-10 side on both ends this season, currently 27th in points scored per game (106.8) and 21st in points allowed (114.5). 

Meanwhile, the Atlanta Hawks are heating up nicely and are also aiming for a third straight win here after trouncing the Wizards 129-117 on Saturday morning. 

Dyson Daniels put up 25 points and De'Andre Hunter added 22, while as a team Atlanta notched up an impressive 70 points in the second half on their home court. 

The Hawks are ranked seventh in the scoring charts (117.2), but they could use improvement on defence, currently allowing 120.8 points per game on average (28th overall).
