Poland face Saudi Arabia in Group B of the 2023 Men's World Handball Championship preliminary round. Both countries go into this final match hoping to secure the result that will take them into the main round. France and Slovenia have four points in this group after both have had wins over Poland and Saudi Arabia. Only the country that finishes bottom of this group will go into the President's Cup to determine the lower rankings. Poland have the best goal difference and a draw with Saudi Arabia will take them into the main round. Whoever qualifies will struggle in the main round as they'll have no points to carry forward. That's because only points against sides who have also progressed count. Poland are the extremely short priced favourites to win this match. They only lost by two goals to France but then had a disappointing 32-23 loss to in-form Slovenia. 

It'll be a massive surprise if Saudi Arabia get the win here. They have had two heavy losses in these 2023 championships, starting with a 33-19 loss to Slovenia. Up next for them were France and another heavy loss followed as they were beaten 41-23. Only a win will take them into the main round but they have lost five matches in a row with just one win in the last seven. They look out of their depth in this competition and a bet on a Polish win on a -9.5 handicap is the suggested wager.
