Poland vs Norway Prediction & Betting Tips - United Cup

Norway will play Poland in their final match in Group B of the United Cup, seeking to avoid early elimination from the tournament. Read on for our prediction of this match.

Poland is being represented in Australia by Hubert Hurkacz and Iga Swiatek. Swiatek is the current world number two in the WTA while Hurkacz is the ATP’s world number 16.

The two have led their nation to at least the semi-finals in each of the previous two United Cups. Last year, Swiatek and Hurkacz lost in the final against Germany.

They are heavy favourites to emerge champions in this year’s edition. Poland has won seven of the nine ties they have competed at this annual event.

Norway began their tournament with a 2-1 defeat to the Czech Republic. Malene Helgo lost her Women’s Singles match in straight sets to Karolina Muchova. Casper Ruud tied the series with a 2-1 win over Tomas Machac in the Men’s Singles.

In the Mixed Doubles, however, Muchova and Machac proved to have enough for Norway’s Ulrikke Eikeri and Viktor Durasovic. Another defeat for Norway here will see them eliminated in the group stages.

In the 2024 edition, Norway, represented by Helgo and Ruud, qualified for the quarter-finals. Norway have lost four of the five ties they have competed in this event since their debut in 2023.
