Poland are the top ranked country in the world and therefore favorites to win the Men's European Volleyball championships. They take on North Macedonia in Pool C and have already won their opening two matches. So have their opponents and both are on their way to the final round. Poland began this tournament with a straightforward 3-0 win over the Czech Republic. After winning the first set 25-17, they won the next two 25-20. Up next for the world ranked number one team was a match against the Netherlands. That proved to be a tougher task and they dropped their first set of the championships. That was in the first set and it was tight in the next too but the Poles won that 25-23 and then won the next two to clinch victory. The 2022 World Cup finalists and semi-finalists in the last two European Championships are on their way to the final round.

North Macedonia are ranked 37th in the world so have a big gap to fill here. They have started well in this pool though with wins over Denmark and Montenegro. Those are the bottom two teams in the pool at present without a win between them. Winning those two matches was important for North Macedonia as it should take them into the final round. It all gets a bit more difficult for them now as they still have Poland, the Netherlands and the Czech Republic to face. We go for Poland to win this match and do so in straight sets.
