Wednesday’s final group-stage match in the volleyball competition at the 2024 Paris Olympics will see Poland taking on Kenya. Bialo–Czerwoni are second in Pool B with three points, while the Malkia Strikers are bottom of the standings and still in search of their first point. Let’s jump into our match prediction.

Poland got their 2024 Olympics campaign off to the perfect start, securing a solid 3-1 win over Japan on Sunday afternoon. They are currently behind Brazil in the standings, owing to the Dream team claiming a 3-0 win in their first match. 

Bialo–Czerwoni have now won four of their last five matches in all competitions and have only lost three in their last 10. Those defeats were against Serbia, Italy and China. 

The Poles are heavily fancied to join the Dream Team from Pool B in the knockouts and can guarantee their qualification with a win here against a side they have never lost to in three previous matchups. 

In the three previous encounters between these teams, Kenya failed to win a single set in either of the last two while suffering a 3-1 loss in the first-ever match. Notably, these sides have not faced each other since 2016.

Still, the Malkia Strikers are the lowest-ranked team at the Olympics this year and were no match for the mighty Brazilians in their opening match which they lost 3-0, and failed to score 15 points in any of those sets. 

While the Kenyans have dominated the teams in their region in recent years, they have not beaten any side from outside of the African continent since 2019.
