Poland vs Czechia Prediction & Betting Tips - Basketball World Cup

The Czech Republic are ranked 24th in the world and take on Poland who are a place below them. Both will be higher when the next set of rankings are pubished thanks to their performances in this 2019 FIBA World Basketball Cup. The Czechs had previously failed to even reach the finals since the republic was formed. Their only loss in the first group stage was to the USA, who they could face in their next game. The Czechs beat both Japan and Turkey, who so nearly beat the USA.  A win over Brazil in the second group earned them a place in the last eight despite being beaten by Greece in their next match. In the last eight, they took on Australia who proved the stronger of the two countries trying to reach their first world cup semi-final.

Poland are ranked a place lower than their opponents but willl hope to change that. They are in only their second world cup tournament, the last one being in 1967. The Poles won their first group with victories over Venezuela, China (though they needed over time) and the Ivory Coast. That took them into the second group stage where they narrowly beat Russia but lost heavily to Argentina. The win over Russia was good enough to take them into the last eight but they lost all four quarters in a 12 point loss to Spain. They have had a good run but the tip here is for a Czech Republic win.
