Phoenix Suns are just behind Golden State Warriors in the Western Conference Pacific Division. The reigning Western Conference champions h host the Washington Wizards who are third in the Eastern Conference Southeast Division. Phoenix have a season record of 22-5 for the season and are only a win behind Golden State. Overall, they are second in the Western Conference with the Warriors in top position. Phoenix have been in great form at home with 12 wins out of 14. Their first two of the season were lost but since then have won a dozen in a row.They have won three of their last four games, the other being a loss to the LA Clippers. Their most recent match saw them get a four point win over Portland, but needed overtime to get that victory. 

Washington have a 15-14 season record and are two wins behind division leaders Miami Heat. They are eighth overall in the Eastern Conference so postseason is a definite possiblity for the Wizards. Seven of their 17 away games have been won this season but they come into this game in poor form. Washington have lost six of their last seven games. Their only recent win has been over woeful Detroit. The last three have been lost, the most recent at Sacramento. Back Phoenix to ge their 23rd win of the season on a -5.5 points spread.
