The Phoenix Suns will host the New Orleans Pelicans for the second successive night in the NBA. They sit in 11th place in the Western Conference, whereas the Spurs are 13th. Read on for our prediction of this match.

The Phoenix Suns were outgunned 124-116 in the first game of this back-to-back. Devin Booker scored a game-high 36 points, while Kevin Durant added 28 more.

The two, however, were the only Suns players with at least 20 points. Phoenix have now lost three straight and in their last eight games, have managed just one win.

This slump has them now five games under .500. Bradley Beal was absent in the first game due to a calf issue and is questionable to go again.

The Pelicans have won both meetings with the Suns this season. They are now on a three-match winning run against Phoenix and will be confident of a fourth victory as they are on form.

Willie Green’s men have had a strong resumption to the season after the All-Star break and are 3-1 since the recess. They have defeated the Spurs in back-to-back home games.

This upturn in fortunes has lifted the team off the bottom of the West standings. The Pelicans, who will be without Kelly Olynyk, Brandon Boston, Herb Jones and Dejounte Murray, have compiled a 16-43 record.
