The LA Lakers will travel to play the Phoenix Suns seeking to maintain their 100% start to the NBA Cup. They top the West Group B whereas their hosts are fourth. Below is our prediction for this match.

The Suns have lost their last five matches and will be eager to stop the count with LA’s visit. Mike Budenholer’s men have struggled since Kevin Durant and Bradley Beal went down injured.

The two are, however, said to be fit and are expected to suit up here. The Suns, who defeated the Jazz to earn their only Cup win, defeated the Lakers the last time they met.

This was their fourth match of the season back in October. The Suns are coming off a 138-122 loss to the Knicks.

The Lakers have started their In-Season defence spectacularly. They have won both of their matchups against the Spurs and Jazz. A third win here will almost certainly confirm their place in the knockout rounds.

J.J. Redick's men are however coming into this match having lost their last two fixtures. LA were humbled last time out by the Nuggets who continued their dominance in this fixture with a 127-102 road victory. Jaxon Hayes is expected to play in Phoenix after recovering from an ankle issue.
