Phoenix, who sit third in the Western Conference table, have played one more game than the Mavericks who are second. The Suns started their season with back-to-back matches in LA.

They saw off the Clippers in round one in a close OT showdown but fell 123-116 in their next match to the Lakers.

Mike Budenholzer’s men have shown that they are a solid offensive team. They are averaging 116 points and have three players, Kevin Durant, Devin Booker and Bradley Beal putting up at least 19 on average.

The Suns are likely to be without Grayson Allen again.
