The second game of the NFL Divisional Playoff round sees the Philadelphia Eagles hosting the New York Giants at the Lincoln Financial Field for this classic NFC East rivalry. The Eagles finished the regular season with the NFC’s best record at 14 wins and three losses, earning them a bye in the Wild Card round of the playoffs. Philly capped off their regular season with a 22-16 win over their opponents today, their second victory over New York on the season after running out 48-22 winners in week 14 as well. The win snapped a two game losing streak for Philadelphia. 

On the other side, New York had an inconsistent run to end the 2022/23 regular season after a red-hot start saw the G-Men sitting at a 7-2 record after the first half of the season. The Giants would only win two of their remaining eight games to finish the regular season with a 9-7-1 record and squeeze into the playoffs. New York was able to upset the odds in the Wild Card round however when they beat the Vikings 31-24 as the road team despite being +3 point underdogs. They’ll face a much stiffer challenge against the Eagles as the oddsmakers have New York as over a touchdown underdogs with the spread currently sitting at +7.5.
